Hanging at home

Jen got a cast put on yesterday. It is supposed to take six weeks to fully heal, but we go back in three weeks for more x-rays. We have a wheelchair and a walker, but right now it's mostly sitting in bed with the occasional foray into the living room via wheelchair. Meanwhile, I've been cooking the one dish I know how to make - baked breaded chicken. The family either has to love it, or learn to love it. I also made confetti cupcakes, but haven't frosted them yet. That will be her snack treat during the next session of 8+ hours of reality TV.

Still waiting for official orthopedic treatment

Jen's been resting in the house. Looks like we won't have an orthodepic appointment until tomorrow (at the earliest).

Nothing much going on. Jen completed a marathon session of Say Yes to the Dress, followed by What Not to Wear.

Jake got a smartphone (Motorola Triumph on Virgin Network), so he's busy with that.

Jennifer's Recuperation Blog...

OK- it's a family tradition. Jen fractured her fibula, and will be hobbled for the foreseeable future. That means she's gotta blog the recuperation. I'll get her set up to add content, and away we go...
